Australian Hardwood Dining Table

Featured is a large dining table . The top is made of bloodwood and so is the base with a turned wattle shaft .  The top measures approximately 122cm in diameter and is made from 5cm thick solid bloodwood. The  Base is approximately 15 cm deep and turned from a very large single piece of bloodwood . This was rescued from a very large  trunk that had lain buried in the ground for an unknown number of years . The top is made so that it can be removed from the shaft for ease of removal .  This is a unique item which could not be duplicated . It is also a very heavy item which would take two people to lift it . We have been unable to physically weigh the table but estimate  it could be in the region of 250 kg .
